So Tanya and I were discussing vacations yesterday and when we could go blah blah, but sorta tricky since I start my NEW JOB Jan 31st.  So she says, what about  Thursday? I say, you mean January 20th? So we look at prices…and now we’re off to Varadero for 4 days! Exciting..I love being spontaneous!! Warm weather, here I come.

Oh anxiety…I’m excited to be starting my new job, but man I’m having anxiety. Oh as a person I feel bad about stuff. Sad!!!

The whole process of getting to know people…wouldn’t it just be easier to fill out a questionnaire? Hmm sounds like online dating..then you have that whole issue of people lying about who they are. I can’t help being old fashioned in some ways. Oh so hard…honesty, vulnerability, you want me to be open to get hurt? I hadn’t listened to Michelle Branch’s album in awhile. I suppose there’s only so much dance music I can listen to…:)

Had a great weekend. Went out for Jess’s bday on Friday….oh no are we at the age where we don’t have parties??? We just went to Amore Trattoria and then saw Spanglish (meh…). That pic is of the phallic bench at Cineplex theatre.  Sat – Test drove the Mini Cooper S, then later  Bistro 333 and Club Menage for Aliza’s Bachelorette party. Hmm why is traffic so bad? Oh right, it’s Monster Truck wkend. Eww that sure explains the crowd. Sun – Brunch at Milestones, shopping at Yorkdale, then went to see "In Good Company".

Gawd if there’s one thing I know about it’s that I won’t be rushing into marriage…You know..that whole first-hand knowledge of what happens when you don’t take the time to get to know someone.
